This trek takes you deeper into Gunung Leuser National Park, with more varied terrain and longer routes.

With more time on the trail, your chances of spotting wildlife increase (never guaranteed).
Orangutans move freely through this forest, Thomas leaf monkeys, squirrels and macaques are commonly seen and you never know what other wildlife you may encounter.

Lunch is prepared in the middle of the jungle, simple and fresh.

After resting, you continue through the jungle before descending toward the river. The trek ends with a river tubing return along the Bahorok River back to Bukit Lawang.

This is the most balanced option for travelers who want a complete jungle experience in a day, without spending the night in the forest.
