2 Days / 1 Night

JUNGLE TREK IN BUKIT LAWANG

On the first day, you trek deeper into the rainforest, away from the village. This gives you more time and better chances to spot wildlife, including orangutans, silver-leaf monkey and other species (never guarantees).

By late afternoon you reach a riverside jungle campsite, where a refreshing swim in the river often feels especially rewarding after hours of trekking.

A freshly prepared dinner is served at camp (fish, meat or vegetarian). Spend the evening relaxing, playing cards or chatting around the campfire.

You fall asleep to the sound of the river, far from roads, phones and schedules.

On the second day you continue trekking where you may encounter additional wildlife such as tortoises or the Great Argus pheasant.

After you final jungle lunch, you descend toward the river and return to Bukit Lawang by river tubing with an experienced guided.

For many travelers, this trek feels like jungle experience.
