What are the jungle campsite like?

Spend the night deep in the rainforest, fall asleep to the sound of the river and wake up surrounded by nature.

During our jungle treks, you stay at different campsites located throughout the rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park. Each location is carefully chosen beside a river or stream, surrounded by nature. Our camps are simple but comfortable, offering an authentic rainforest experience

Campsite
  • Covered bamboo shelter with a waterproof roof
  • Shared sleeping area under one shelter
  • Mattress, blanket and pillow provided per guest
  • Guests sleep under one shared shelter (individual mosquito nets are provided, or shared per couple)
Jungle kitchen
  • Separate cooking area at each campsite
  • Freshly prepared meals daily
  • Tea or coffee served upon arrival at camp
Jungle shower
  • Camps are always located near a river, stream or waterfall
  • A natural place to swim and refresh
Toilet
  • Toilet located a short walking distance from camp (headlamp recommended)
  • During 4- or 5-day treks, fixed toilet facilities may not always be available
